YEVA DÔN Gives You Ethically Created Garments For Every Occasion

WHO

Yeva Don, Owner

Tulum, Mexico

I am on the road most of my life, so I am inspired by life itself, as by cultures and people who have their true home within them. Traveling around the world I found fascinating the beauty, comfort and high functionality of the clothing that Silk Road travelers, Mongolian tribes, monks, jungle, desert, sea and mountain people were using to cross from country to country - they had to have the very minimum of the very best.

Currently I live and create in Tulum, Mexico, learning about local weaving techniques and rich Mexican culture.

WHEN

At first creating for myself, I came to realize how many are craving this comfort and the empowering feeling that handcrafted with natural fabrics garment can provide. So I started creating clothes for women and men that can serve them day to night, for every possible occasion, while supporting the easy and light flow of people who used to change countries with every wind.

When I create I ask myself - can I dance in it? Can I do yoga in it? Can I make love in it? Is the way I’m about to make it have the minimum possible impact on the planet? When the answer is yes, I make it.

WHY

When I create I ask myself - can I dance in it? Can I do yoga in it? Can I make love in it? Can I do groceries, go to the beach, climb the mountain, show up for an important meeting wearing this very same garment no matter if it’s summer or winter? Is the way I’m about to make it have the minimum possible impact on the planet? When the answer is yes, I make it.

FAVORITE

I’ve been wearing the Love Dress combined with the Love Pants and Aura Cape for more than seven years now - this outfit is a serious long-term relationship for me. I didn’t find anything more comfortable and appropriate for my life in all this time, I guess it’s a keeper. Well, there’s a Sanctuary Kaftan too, of course. We are a four-some.
