Inspire and be Inspired, Mercado Sagrado is More Than an Event
When we found out one of our favorite brands was going to be at a creative and healing arts festival in Malibu Canyon, we were intrigued. A few Instagram posts later we found that another brand we love would be there too, and another, and then another… the rest was history. It didn’t take long for us to fall completely in love with the concept of Mercado Sagrado, which marks its 5th annual 2-day celebration of the California canyon spirit this weekend.
Filled with social entrepreneurs, live music, ethically produced goods, organic food, lectures, workshops, and so much more; it’s the perfect mixture of cool vibes, inspiration, and creative expression. Mercado Sagrado embodies what we believe in and his bringing together those who feel the same way, and did we mention dogs are allowed?

I find inspiration from my friends, the natural world and all of it’s mysteries.
Mercado Sagrado is a creative and healing arts festival in Malibu Canyon that includes makers, musicians, teachers, and healers. But it goes beyond that. We’re building a community and, we hope, creating an unforgettable experience. It’s a place for artisans to share their craft, where commerce is ethical and conscious. A place for like-minded people to gather, to inspire and be inspired. To find new ways to heal and expand. We like to think of it as a festival with deeper meaning. One with a connection to art and craft beyond consumerism. One with food that nourishes and music that resonates. One that speaks to a higher consciousness, and a more beautiful, insightful, deliberate way of living.
Our first Mercado Sagrado was in October of 2014. The idea was to get people together, in person, in nature. We wanted to support creative arts as well as also present opportunities to explore and learn more about the esoteric arts and holistic medicine -such as vibrational plant medicine like flower essences to biofeedback healing technology such as scalar wave or PEMF therapy and beyond.
Mercado Sagrado is unique because of our experiential offerings. We’re a hybrid —we have included many renowned makers and designers such as Aleph Geddis and Milena Silvano but also have a full music line up for the weekend, all organic food featuring great chefs and many other activities such as talks by people such as Kathleen Harrison of Botanical Dimensions, workshops, ceremonies, sound activations, aura photography, intuitive readings, children’s activities, etc…
Always the vibe!
